This house has a sad story. The very deserving family received a nice, large house from Extreme Home Makeover, but in the years which followed the family’s failed attempt at starting a new company lost them the house. It was foreclosed on after the family took out a mortgage on the property and couldn’t make payments. I don’t know who is standing on the porch in the Google streetview, but to me it seems like it is the owner of the house staring blankly into the unknown.
The house itself seems very out of place among the ranch-style suburban houses outside Atlanta. It is the biggest house around and sticks out like a sore thumb.
