I actually remember watching this episode when it premiered. The family, like all others on the show, was very deserving. But in interviews since the show aired 8 years ago the family has said the home is almost too big. They specifically mentioned they don’t have the time to maintain the landscaping, and much is now overgrown. It fits into its rural landscape, and there are even sheep grazing in the yard.
